President Obama Confirmed Osama bin Laden’s Death

In a news conference from the White House, President Barack Obama indeed confirmed tonight that Osama bin Laden was killed in a CIA operation in Pakistan. This now ends years of manhunting for the Al-Qaeda leader, who architected the September 11, 2001 attacks on Washington, D.C. and New York City.

Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi Survived NATO Attack That Killed His 29 year old Son

 In a NATO missile attack earlier today, directed at Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi, Mr. Gadhafi and his wife escaped with no injury. However, the NATO missile assault killed Gaddafi’s youngest son, Saif al-Arab Gaddafi and three grandchildren. According to a Libyan spokesperson, other family members and friends were injured.


Person killed by CSX train near Gaithersburg, Maryland

Due to a pedestrian being struck and killed by a CSX train earlier today near Gaithersburg, Maryland, service on the Brunswick line of the Maryland Area Regional Commuter, has been closed, according to officials within the Maryland Transportation Administration.
